Dear professor Wandee and all students friend,
I hope my message finds you are doing great. How is the study situation in Bangkok? I would like to encourage all of you keep studying for the bright future.
First of all, I would like to give you guys some information about me. My life in the US is doing great in the sense of English skills practicing. However, nothing progresses in term of nursing union or the immigration.
Second of all, I would like to give one of the best website to study an English skill. I found it is very useful. Here you are; www.chompchomp.com. I hope this site will help you guys to study in both grammars and sentences structure.
Thirdly, living in the US is very expensive if you do not have anyone to support your cost of living. The reason that I mentioned about studying English in Thailand is the cheapest way is to encourage you guys to stay there because the US government is broken. It has not started to consider a job offer for a professional nurse yet. However, if anyone has lots of money and likes to apply for a visa to study in the US, you might have a chance to get a visa easier than the previous time. I am not saying that everyone will get approval. It depends on your documents and your own financial status.
One last thing that I would like to suggest is that you have to try to get involved with an English environment as much as you can. For example, watching news or movies in English is very helpful to improve your listening skill. Listening to an English music is another advantage to gain both pleasure and knowledge as well. Reading any kind of English sources is to help your brain to absorb a sentence and English structure little by little such as Bangkok post, magazines, and your own academic materials.
I wish you the best.
Best Regards,
Sam From Siam
