I experienced feeling nervous about setting interview, It is something unavoidable for a nurse who wiling to land a job from a hospital. This is the crucial and the great chance to show you stuff to impress interviewer.
I know outstanding nurses who are better than me and other nurses could not get the job from the hospital that they want just because they did not prepare well for the interview. We have to learn from that.
Before USSI or Jonathan line you up for interviewing I would be great if you could get rid of the nervous feeling and be confident for setting Let start with something simple, you just learn how to get used to questions and practice how to answer the questions, there is no right or wrong just try to answer and learn from someoneelse's answer.
We will help each other by answering the questions OK!
Tell me about your self.
How long have you been a nurse?
Why did you leave Thailand?
Why do you want to work in UCLA hospital or Presbiterian Hospital bla..bla....bla....?
What does motivate you most in nursing career?
Are you willing to work in flexitime?
Could you name your weakness? or What do you consider your greatest strengths?
could you talk a little more about professionalism?
How do you feel about your English skills? Especially, when you communicate with patients, families, doctors, co-workers, ect?
What do you do when you face with a tough problems? or how to solve it , how to cope with nonco-operatived patients?
How do you deal with a lot of tasks needed to be done?
bla.............bla...........bla.............
i hope that this is helpful and useful. it would be great and fun if you practiced answering this question.
Thanks, Andy
